Union Minister Shripad Naik said on Wednesday that Patanjali Ayurved has submitted its report to the Ministry of AYUSH about the drug that it has submitted with the claim that it can cure corona virus in seven days. The AYUSH Minister said that the Ministry will look into the report and after that the company will decide on giving final permission to the drug.
Shripad Naik was talking to PTI over phone from New Delhi. A day ago, Naik’s ministry had asked Patanjali Ayurveda to provide the quantity and other details of various herbs present in this medicine as soon as possible. The ministry had also ordered the company to stop promoting this product till the matter is investigated.
He said, Baba Ramdev has made a new medicine. Any research he has done should come to the Ministry of AYUSH for certification. Naik said, “We will be able to speak about this only when we look into the claims.” I am told that he (Patanjali) has submitted a report to the ministry. The Ministry will look into the report and final approval will be given after looking into it.
While presenting coronil medicine, Patanjali Ayurved claimed on Tuesday that it has found a cure for Kovid-19. The company claimed that its drug Kovid-19 patients received 100 percent favorable results during clinical trials, except for those on life-saving devices.
